Cyprus is full of amazing opportunities and experiences for anyone who cares to look. The island has a lot to offer especially when it comes to real estate. There is no shortage of prime real estate on the island and well-off visitors to the country can always find world class accommodation both for rent and for sale. That does not mean, however, that cheaper options are not widely available. The island has great studios and other properties for rent. From budget travellers passing through for a few days to students just starting out on their own to retirees looking for a small, quiet space to call their own, there is no shortage of comfortable, affordable studios for sale in Cyprus along with studios for short term rental in Cyprus.
The best place to search property in Cyprus is Bazaraki, the number one online Cyprus marketplace. Bazaraki allows one to sort through hundreds of listings filtered by price, number of bedrooms and any of a number of other things to find the perfect place to rent for long or short stays among dozens of other things. Some of the cheapest studios in Cyprus can be found on Bazaraki and the cheapest studio for rent is the village studio located in the Lefkosia district. The studio is available for rent for €250 per month.
Lefkosia District Village Studio
The studio is located just outside Nicosia in a village called Agioi Trimithias located just under 20 km from the capital and costs 250 euros per month. The village has just over a thousand residents and is home to a number of historical sites including the village church which was built sometime in the 19th century and dedicated the saints Anargyrous, Kosma and Damiano. The village studio itself is 15 kilometres from the city and within 14 kilometres of a number of international embassies and ministries.
The accommodation is fully furnished and equipped with all the amenities needed for both short and long stays. The studio has a private restroom and a shared kitchenette which is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, grill, electric pan, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, silverware and a washing machine. Some of the other facilities the studio has include a smart TV, hair dryer, iron and an ironing table. For its price, the studio offers a lot and residents often comment on the wide entryways, beautiful veranda and backyard and the well-lit path to the entrance.
The cheapest studio in Cyprus, despite its price, is a very comfortable, spacious place to stay which makes it perfect for long stays. The location of the studio, within a peaceful, small village less than half an hour’s drive from the capital city, makes it the ideal place for people looking for an affordable but comfortable place to stay. In addition to the 250 euro monthly rent, residents are required to pay 50 euros which covers parking, municipality fees, water and other expenses.
The village studio is not the only studio one can find in Cyprus at a similar price point. Bazaraki lists two other studios that cost 250 euro per month to rent. One studio is based in Paralimni in the Famagusta district. The studio is near the bus station and has everything one might need for a long stay including a washing machine, fridge and a kitchen. Another studio at the same price point is the recently renovated Peyia based studio. The 42 square metre living space costs 250 euros per month to rent, reduced from 350 and is available to rent for at least one year. It is minutes away from the Peyia police station and is fully equipped with everything one might need for a long stay. The studio has a double bed, sofa bed, LED TV, air conditioner, washing machine and almost anything else one might need for a long term stay in Peyia
